Steve and the staff welcome you to this old coaching inn which dominates Highland Square, between High Street and Wesley Place, just off the top of Whiteladies Road near the Downs. It was once a staging post for coaches on the Bristol to Gloucester service via Henleaze and Filton.
We have a sunny outside terrace with a new large decked area and a real open fire inside when the weather is cold. We pride ourselves on our home-made food, real ales and barista.
